Trying to pin a specific style or genre of filmmaking to Susanna is pointless, as her work ranges across fly-on-the-wall documentary, period drama, UK situation performance comedy and, most recently, documentary style drama with special effects. It is her exceptional skill as a director and building strong character development that allows her success in such a wide variety of work. She has been described as the British Kathryn Bigelow!
Most recently Susanna has worked on her first feature 'Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang' released in March 2010.
Susanna also directed ‘GENERATION KILL’, a $56 million, seven-part HBO miniseries from the creators of ‘THE WIRE’, that was released in the UK in January.
