Karen Lamond began her career working as a fashion photographer. It quickly opened opportunities into the music industry, both to photograph and make music videos for artists.
During just her first year of making music videos, Karen won best newcomer at the Billboards Awards plus received runner-up at the the Creative and Design Awards. Karen went on to work with high profile artists such as Texas, MJ Cole, Jarkata, Seal and Garbage.
Karen's move into moving images was embraced by the fashion industry where she was commissioned to make a short film showcasing Katharine Hamnett's Summer collection. From there Karen moved seamlessly between photographic, commercial and music video worlds.
Karen has just completed a postgrad in fine art photography at Central St Martins, where she gained a distinction for her "beautiful, sensual and intimate" portraits. Since joining Annex, Karen has completed commercials for the likes of Special K, Galaxy, Veet and De Beers to name but a few.
