Director Trevor Melvin has joined the Annex Collective roster of award winning talent


Trevor originally made his name in the industry with a BTAA Gold Winning government anti-drink drive ad entitled ‘Dave’. He then went on to deliver a plethora of memorable spots for high profile brands including commercials for Volkswagen, British Meat, Kit-Kat and Centraal Beheer which have since become some of his most recognised and awarded work.

Trevor began his career as an advertising art director, working in several top London ad agencies and producing many prestigious campaigns, most notably ‘Tell Sid’ for the British Gas floatation and Mansfield Clothes, which won numerous awards including a Gold Clio for Best Art Direction.

As well as commercials, online films and music videos, Trevor has also directed several acclaimed short films, most notably ‘The Dogs’, which he also wrote. The neo-noir drama set in and around a greyhound track was nominated as Best European Short Film and described by Time Out as “…somewhere between Lynch and Scorsese.”

Most recently, Trevor has produced work for VW Golf, Sainsbury’s, HSBC and the charitable organisation Ballet United. Trevor’s pedigree within the industry is second to none and his experience allows him to apply his obvious film-making talent to all manner of products and platforms.
