Huge congratulations to Laurie Hill who has just won the prestigious McLaren Award at the Edinburgh Film Festival for his animation short 'Photograph of Jesus'. This award adds to his best animation wins at Tampere Film Festival and the Seattle International Film Festival. The McLaren Award for British Animation was named in honor of one of Scotland's most celebrated filmmakers, Norman McLaren. The prize has now reached its twentieth year. This is a massive achievement for 'Photograph of Jesus', go Laurie!
